The Company
Factory
We are located in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines, where skillful weavers are abundant and where most expertly handcrafted furniture are manufactured and exported all over the world. Our factory has the facilities to ensure that we only produce high quality outdoor furniture.

Powder Coating
Our products are powder-coated finished to protect against exposure to chemicals and withstand inclement weather, humidity and other harmful conditions. This process aims to ensure durable and long lasting products.

Weaving
Our products are hand woven by highly skilled workers who aim to produce only the most excellent pieces of furniture. We incorporate tradition with innovation by reinterpreting traditional weaving through modern technology and material.

Quality Control
Quality Control is the most crucial stage in the manufacturing process. Our company believes that substance matters more than image, thus, we make sure that we employ only unsurpassed measures of quality control for each of our products.

Packaging
Our packaging department ensures that every furniture piece is protected from every possible damage during handling and transportation. We use good quality packaging material that hugs the furniture like a protective skin layer and cushions each furniture from movement and impact forces.

Oliver’s exposure in the furniture industry started way back in the 1980’s when he worked as a draftsman in several furniture manufacturing companies in Cebu, Philippines. His ambition to further excel in his craft, coupled with the determination & natural talent for design led him to participate in various seminars & workshops which paved the way for him to become a full-pledged furniture designer, becoming one of the few proud members of the Designers Guild Philippines.
His stint in North Carolina, USA & Asian countries as a designer gave him enough experience to master his creative skills. His understanding of diverse material innovations & manufacturing processes gave him the edge & ability to create one of a kind designs.
His works have been recognized in various awards, one of them won for him the Best Designer in Contemporary Category in the Cebu International Furniture & Furnishings Exhibition. He also gained numerous nominations in Estilo & Mugna Awards for Design Excellence at the Annual Phillipine International Furniture Exhibition.
Being one of Woven Furniture Designs, Inc’s in-house designer, his remarkable design collections were chosen exclusively by Alexander Rose, one of the biggest outdoor furniture companies in the UK.
Today he continues to give his full dedication to his craft by executing more brilliant designs.

Alan started his career as an apprentice cabinet maker and furniture draughtsman in Brighton, England, before developing his own contemporary furniture design and manufacturing business in 1983. The company became best known for its classic modern interpretation of the famous "Deck Chair", which he sold through international Avant Garde outlets.
In 1990, Alan changed direction and moved into the arena of industrial design, facing new challenges working within the Leisure Industry, designing fibreglass waterslides for theme parks and swimming pool complexes. Working in collaboration with architects and structural engineers, Alan has designed some of the world’s most exhilarating waterslides. In conjunction with the water features, he also designed themed settings for many of the projects. He is also a highly talented interior designer, creating stunning and technically challenging installations within the private sector.
After his many years in industrial design, Alan took up the position of in-house furniture designer at Alexander Rose, the highly reputable garden furniture company based in the UK, and has developed many collections of innovative furniture that maintain the company’s position at the forefront of their industry. Alan has recently been working closely with the Woven Furniture Designs team, ensuring that his expertise and inspirational designs are integrated into the new "Ocean" collection.
